St. Ignatius is not only the father of the Society of Jesus but also the father of every Atenean. It is his inspiration, vision and charism that bring us all together. St. Ignatius and his charism spans time and space and bridges generations: he was able to inspire his first companions to form the Society of Jesus more than four hundred years ago; he was able to move our Jesuit Jubilarians who were once like us, students; we are now borne by this tradition.
